Dubli Adds Shopping Mall May 25, 2009
Posted by admin in : Uncategorized , add a commentDubli has now added a Shopping Portal to it’s site. It is a great addition and includes many well known brands such as BestBuy, Academic SuperStore, HP Shopping, Dell Small Business, Aeropostale, Avenue, Banana Republic, and loasds more.
Here’s how it works. As a member of Dubli (it costs nothing to join) when you shop from the Dubli Portal you earn points based on the discount percentage that each merchant offers. They range from 2% to 20% of your purchase (although most are under 5%). These points are credited to your account and then you can redeem them on a gift credit card or use them to pay for future purchases.
So why not shop via the Dubli Portal. You might as well as it costs you nothing but you gain an additional discount from each reseller. Give it a try today.
If you do sign up and would like some free credits to try out the auctions, just let me know and I will send you some.
Dubli Announces Best Price Guarantee May 25, 2009
Posted by admin in : Announcements , add a commentDubli’s prices have always been good but now Dubli is guarantees it. Here’s how it works:
If you find a competitor who has the same product at a lower price than Dubli, within two weeks after you have purchased the item, Dubli will not only match their price but also credit your account with 10% of the difference. For example you purchase an item from Dubli at $100 and you find another vendor who has the same product and is advertising it for $90, Dubli will credit you the $10 difference plus an additional $1.00 for a total of $11.00. You can find out more details at the Dubli site.
I think this is great because it takes the risk out of participating in an auction. You can shop knowing that you have the option of buying at a good price no matter what the state of progression for that particular item. Of course you also stand the chance of buying something that is a GREAT deal.
I notice that just recently someone bought an iPOD Shuffle 3G silver for$45.75. Another person bought a Canon Powershot SX200 IS for $208.75. The same one is selling on Amazon for $349.95. Note that the auction started at $349. That means even if you were the first person to bid on it, you would still have bought it for 75 cents less than on Amazon.
